With the update to the new forums, we've had to remove one of our more 'effective' spam blocking features. It's taken about a month and a half for the spam bots to figure it out; and now they're a signing up in droves. So we've shutdown new user creation until we add more robust spam protection. We do all of the user approval by hand, and removing 20 bogus users a day infringes on our 'free' time.

Also, we may have been a bit more aggressive in our removal of users in the past several of days. We apologize if your user was incorrectly removed. Please contact us with pertinent information, and we'll try to get you added back.
